Very borderline pick, but thought it worth a thread for how unique it is. Ditch used to go hard pimping the match that happened a week before this where Misawa injures his shoulder and Kawada had to step in. Regarding that match, I agree with the Cagematch reviewer who stated that they didn't really take full advantage of the storytelling opportunity presented to them and by the end it feels like just another good match between the teams. This match happening a week after that one feels like these guys giving themselves another chance to take advantage of the great storytelling opportunity that fell into their laps. The premise here kind of turns the standard 6-man formula on its head by making Misawa the weak link of his team to the point that Kobashi and Kawada wrestle much of the match like it's a handicap match with Misawa only in for spurts. When Misawa does try to stay in a bit too long, the enemy team pounces right on him and are merciless working on his shoulder. Still, Misawa's elbow remains a powerful weapon and there's some neat strategic moments with him trying to assist his team but not leave himself too vulnerable.
