El Hijo del Santo, Atsushi Onita, and Tarzan Goto vs Negro Casas, Tim Patterson & Horace Boulder (FMW/WWA – 5/16/1992) I did a whole podcast with Stacey about this match. If this was a favorites list, this would probably be my #1. I’ll still have it in my top 30 and expect to be the high vote. Most fun match ever. Absolutely chaotic and so much fun. All of the Casas - Santo work in this match is unbelievably smooth and spectacular and the crowd goes nuts for everything Santo does. The Boulder - Onita brawling around the arena at the start is also a lotta fun, as is their folding chair duel in the final fall. In the 2nd fall Patterson and Goto are just gone with no explaination and not on camera but come back and both of them are bleeding, what happened who knows. I guess this is 2/3 falls and has two refs because it's a kind of a lucha trios match but those factors only serve to increase the weirdness and insanity of this match.
Seconded. ****

I love this match. It is basically the peak of showcase multiman tags. Onita and Goto brawling contrasts well with Casas and Santo, who are really the cornerstones of this. On top of that, the crowd is molten and really brings it up a notch. Just a wild spectacle that I really love.

I voted this #51 on my ballot this year.
On reflection voting a Horace Boulder and Tim Patterson match at #51 wasn't really justifiable.
Nope, I should have had this at least 20 spots higher. Since I first saw this a few years back I don't think there's a match I've watched more often than this one. What a ridiculously fun match. Essentially we get a Santito vs Casas showcase in the ring while Onita beats up Hulk Hogan's nephew with a chair all around the arena. It's glorious.
