A 50+ year old La Park hitting devastating topes and planchas; a grandmother in the front row visibly wincing as Park breaks the bottle on the ring post, knowing what's about to happen next; and that moment where the referee gets pulled from the ring just as he was about to count the fall for Park and a fan from off camera seemingly boils over and hurls his drink in La Mascara's face gets me every time. Just glorious stuff.

Second.
I just watched this for the first time ever and I don't want to say too much about it until I've had time to process it and rewatch it. But yeah. Second. In a MAJOR way. Holy fucking shit.

HOLY MOLY! This is a wild match! From the violence, the blood, the spots, the weapons, the crazy shenanigans with the referee towards the end.. There is so much going on and the hot crowd eats it up. I need to go back and watch their 2016 match from Elite as I really loved that match but this is up there with it for sure. A wild bloody brawl that will not disappoint!

I am admittedly watching this somewhat in a vacuum. Can someone explain how the ending adds to the match? For me it was very unsatisfying. maybe that is me holding it to standards set somewhere else, but I was really digging the action and then that happened and I was kinda let down. I am just curious about the context or maybe some nuance I am missing here.
Great brawl though. I am not sure it holds up to all time greats for me, but it is worth consideration and I'll probably give it another look at some point.
