Won't vote for this but it deserves a nomination. Between this and his performance in the Hogan match, The Rock was quite good in 2002. Pretty awesome subtle heel performance, adapting well to the crowd. Young Brock was also really good: powerhouse and a bump machine. A really fun match.

Tremendous match. Rock's matches tend to hold up best of any of the big WWE main eventers of this era.

2002 Rock was really, really good. I've recently found myself wondering just how good he would have got if he stayed with wrestling full time. He was constantly improving by leaps every year of his full time career.
