Randy Savage vs Tito Santana (WWF - No DQ - Intercontinental Championship - 5/4/1986)
This was a No Disqualification match at the Maple Leaf Gardens. Randy Savage defended the WWF Intercontinental Championship. They brawled near the ringside area, including the ramp way. This feud between Savage and Santana was a great feud and in this match, they really got across the intensity of the feud. Savage and Santana had several really good matches against each other, but this one was their best against each other, in my opinion. Savage juiced. Great brawling and great selling by both workers. Savage hit the referee, who went down. Santana hit his finisher, but the referee was down. Santana tried to pin Savage with a roll up, but Savage used Santana’s trunks to pull him over and pin him. Best WWF match of 1986. There's a decent chance this will be in my top 100.

Easy second. I adore this match. The blood is great. The brawl is great. The selling is great. Simple but effective cheating finish to continue the feud.

Third
Best match out of a ton of great matches between the two. One of the best WWF matches of the 80s. Two great workers in their prime

It was a bit hard getting into this at first with how over-the-top both guys were with their selling, but getting past that this was excellent. Great psychology around the usage of steel chairs with it getting treated as a big deal every time they're brought in. Savage works over Tito like a machine and Tito takes some hard bumps to the outside.

Does everyone prefer this to the 4/22 No DQ MSG match? Are they carbon copies?

Another classic from one of the best WWF feuds of the 80s.
