Most underrated 6-man of 90's AJPW. I prefer it to the more pimped 10/1990 6-man. It has many of the same positives between the frantic pace, clear roles, and a hot crowd. I feel this one has better flow to it, though, and everyone looks a little bit more comfortable as they have a few more months of experience working these matches. Having Kikuchi in there changes the dynamic a little, as he's clearly the weak link and his small size allows Team Jumbo to mercilessly ragdoll him. I can't help but cheer for him during all of his comebacks. The star of this one is definitely Kawada, who really takes it to Jumbo's side throughout. The match really gets going around halfway through, when Kawada nails Jumbo with a lariat to the back of the head, which takes him out for a bit. Cute seeing Kikuchi try his best Fuchi impersonation by trying to stretch Taue while Jumbo is out. Jumbo's comeback is excellent as he cleans house while still selling the after-effects of the lariat. Got goosebumps watching him wreck everyone. Great stretch run as well with Kawada eating the fall after Jumbo gets revenge with his own lariat to the back of the head.

This one has all the hits with some great variations. Kawada is the star of the match and at one point he press slams Kikuchi from the ring onto Fuchi at ringside. Fuchi also takes the chance at one point to throw slaps and strikes at Misawa I didn’t think he was capable of. Kikuchi had some great shine as well but it was the Kawada show including some great battles of will with Jumbo. Taue gets to show dominance at the end and I continue to love everything I see of him.

Fun match of course. Didn't really care for the first third or so then it really picks up in a big way. Jumbo is especially great here.
