Didn't see this nominated, which seems odd with it being Kawada's big win. Anyway, this match is very different in tone from the other Misawa/Kawada but still a great match in its own way. Rather than being a balls-out striking war, it's more about Kawada wrestling a smart match where he takes advantage of Misawa's injuries and shuts down his comeback. Misawa puts up a good fight to fend Kawada off but ends up getting overwhelmed in the end. Though different in structure from their other matches, the top-tier selling, offense, and struggle that's been present throughout their rivalry isn't absent here. I love how the match progressively builds to make Kawada's feel like an inevitability and builds up anticipation until it finally happens and it's this incredible moment.
