I feel like I say this for at least 3/4 AEW PPVs, but fuck this Revolution show is stacked. This is a show I have no problem throwing money down on. So far...
AEW World Title: Adam Page vs Adam Cole Dog Collar Match: CM Punk vs MJF Eddie Kingston vs Chris Jericho Bryan Danielson vs Jon Moxley
AEW Women's Title: Britt Baker vs Thunder Rosa
AEW Tag Team Titles: Jurrasic Express vs reDRagon vs TBD Face of the Revolution Ladder Match: Keith Lee vs Wardlow vs Powerhoouse Hobbs vs Ricky Starks vs TBD vs TBD TBS Title: Jake Cargil vs Tay Conti
Andrade, Matt Hardy, Isiah Cassidy vs Sting, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara
I don't see a new match being added unless they throw Hook vs QT on as a buffer match.
Cassidy v Bowens is one of the qualifying matches for the ladder match. Not sure what the other one will be yet.
I assume the bucks will wind up being the other team in the tag title match, but they could swerve us. There are multiple storyline implications if they aren't the team.

Other than MJF vs Punk which looks to be a great match, this doesn't look a whole lot appealing. It should have good storyline implications but otherwise, it's a an uninteresting card. And no, I'm not a Mox guy whatsoever.

I'm not SUPER high on Mox in ring (though I think he has looked solid since his return), but I have all the faith in the world in Dragon to pull something awesome out of him. He has pulled very good to great out of worse. I've also been really into the story they are telling.
I'm not super high on Cole in ring either, but I'm very high on Adam Page right now. His title run has been really fun so far and he feels like he is hitting a stride. If nothing else, I'm pumped to see what Page can do with a third distinct opponent.
Similar feeling to Kingston/Jericho. I don't get earnestly worked up over results often, but I will be legit upset if Kingston loses. 80% of that is the story they told (solidified by a solid segment last week). 20% of it is me being a kingston mark and feeling like Jericho is trying to ride his wave of popularity. I feel like there is an anti-jericho sentiment in my little corner of wrestling. I get it, especially given some of his recent segments. It might be swinging a bit far for me, but I get it. I also think he could work some magic with Kingston in a minimalist brawl.
I really liked the last Rosa/Baker match. They let that simmer in the background long enough for me to get pumped about it.
I doubt that 3 way tag match is going to be in my wheelhouse, but I bet some crazy nonsense happens in that pops me on the night.
Same thing with the ladder match, especially given all the hosses they put in there so far.

I was quite underwhelmed with every match on Full Gear aside from Punk/Kingston which exceeded all expectations.
But, I love this card because I couldn’t give two shits if a match is great. Im invested, because I want my guys to win and genuinely hate the other guy.
There’s few wrestlers I enjoy watching less than Adam Cole but I’m excited to root against him. Wrestling hasn’t been like that in years.

Moxley's ring-work is what it is but he's good enough and is such a terrific promo I can get excited about anything he's doing. When it comes to Cole, I don't think there's any aspect of his in-ring work that's particularly strong, but he has a tendency to gel well with just about anyone and put on something at least solid. I think he's a pretty good talker, too. And I love Page. He's really come a long way from the guy in Bullet Club who looked like he had potential but wasn't nearly as good as the hype to one of the best babyfaces in wrestling.

Moxley vs Omega and the Moxley vs Kingston I Quit matches for sure I remember being lukewarm on the lights out match, absolutely hating the title change match and genuinely liking the barbed wire match but have only watched those live. Mox/Kingston my line has always been that the build was so good I could only get disappointed. I’ll revisit them though.

I'd also recommend the joshi trios from the first Double or Nothing and Omega/Christian from Rampage.

Bucks-FTR, Rosa-Britt, Cody-Wardlow, Darby-Cage. I’ll watch all again. I remember really liking the Cage/Darby match as well as Cody/Wardlow. The tag match I remember actively hating and I thought the Rosa/Baker match was a fun moment.

For Moxley, I would add basically every Mox/Darby match, they have a lot of chemistry together, and also the MJF title match.

For Moxley, I would add basically every Mox/Darby match, they have a lot of chemistry together, and also the MJF title match. I remember loving one Mox/Darby match in particular. But it feels like an eternity ago. I’ll have to find it and I remember nothing from the MJF match so I’ll give that another spin.
