First and foremost, glad you found an orientation to drinking that works for you.
I have lost quite a bit of steam in terms of my search for new, exciting beers. It is mostly just imperial stouts that hold my attention anymore. I like other beers as well, but in terms of what I am interested in spending up a bit for, it is just big barrel aged stuff. It is one of the more hit or miss types of beers, but the hits are great.

I do enjoy a good Hefeweizen. Which is a style I rarely see done or done well.
I enjoy a stout or porter from time to time but the Imperials are a bit much for me.

The only Bourbon County variant I've had this year is the coffee stout, which was really good but not life-changing. Then gain, Founders KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge is back on shelves and all other barrel-aged stouts can't help but pale in comparison.
As far as regular drinking goes, I mainly gravitate toward IPAs, particularly of the hazy variety. I also gained a new appreciation for Oktoberfest beers this fall. They're right in the sweet spot of having rich malty character without being cloyingly sweet. I'd drink them all the time if they were available year-round.

NL (or anyone), if you see the We're Already Dead from Bhramari Brewery, I'd suggest it. It is the best barrel aged imperial stout I have found in a long long time. It is aged in Stagg Jr Barrels, so it is probably the closest I'm coming to having Stagg Jr.
I haven't seen the KBS maple mackinac fudge this year yet. Eyes are pealed

Crushing Mass by Three Floyds is the best barrel-aged stout I've had in quite some time. Unlike a lot of bourbon barrel coffee stouts where the bourbon completely overwhelms the coffee (Alesmith Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout in particular was a disappointment in that regard), the coffee comes through loud and clear while still allowing the bourbon notes to make their presence known. And the 15.1% ABV is barely detectable.

I have never been able to drink beer. I find the taste so unbearable. Same for wine, champagne, lager, cider and drinks like Guinness and Baileys. I can drink some liquors, though, like bubblegum gin, which is some kind of gin diluted with syrup and maybe some kind of soda.

Haven't run across anything terribly note worthy lately, though I've switched more to good whiskey and tequila and exploring those worlds a bit more.
Anyone have anything particularly good lately?

I am so grateful to be back in a state with legal weed. Growing your own shit takes forever.

With the weather heating up, I've mainly been sticking to IPAs and pilsners. I have a strong preference for NEIPAs, but I can't deny a good West Coast IPA really hits the spot on a hot day. I've also been drinking a lot of Westmalle Extra lately.

I finally dabled in the seltzers this summer a bit more, mostly ranch waters. They are pretty solid on a hot day if you are out in the sun. Otherwise I stick to lighter IPAs. I don't love pilsners on the whole. I tend to just go to your mass light beers if I do that.
It is definitely not my season for beer. I'm looking forward to fall and winter for this.
