Arn and Tully w/ JJ Dillon is a comically weak candidate. Erase everything Tully did as a single. Erase everything Arn did with Ole. Erase everything they did together in the WWF (because JJ wasnt their manager in WWF) and erase everything Arn did in the 90s. It's an 18mon run. Preposterous nomination.

Big Daddy is an awful candidate. There are dozens of wrestlers from the UK alone who belong in before he's even considered.

Big Daddy's a candidate well worth consideration and discussion. I don't feel knowledgeable enough about European wrestling to take a firm stance either way. But some of the most interesting and informative WON HOF discussions on PWO or wrestling classics over the last 15 years have been about Daddy's candidacy so im glad he's on the ballot.

What omissions undermine the process? I feel like its certain inclusions that undermine it (Angle, Ultimo, Stu Hart to name 3.) I'm curious as to your arguments against them. For Ultimo, I would think him being a pioneer in lucharesu and his formation of Toryumon that ultimately led to Dragon Gate. For Stu, Stampede Wrestling and training. I can sort of see the argument against Angle considering he was never "the guy" even as a main-eventer. He also never had a sustained run as a foil to a top star.

Gran Hamada needed to go in before Ultimo. Same with NJPW Dojo's main trainers. How much credit do we give Ultimo for Dragon Gate vs like CIMA?
Stu was a mid carder as a wrestler. Stampede was one of the smallest territories. If Stu goes in for promoting, basically everyone does. It comes down to training and it has never read like Stu did a lot of actual training. other guys did and Stu would pop down for his sadism fix. Also, his trainees dont really compare to Verne, Diablo Velasco or Jaguar Yokota.
Angle was never a HOF draw or worker and his influence is largely negative.

Interestingly enough there are quite a few folks pushing for CIMA this year.

I'd be interested in reading a detailed case for CIMA.

People outside Britain don't understand how massively famous Big Daddy is here. Not really with people born after he was on TV but if you mention wrestling to virtually anyone over 40 here they will all talk about Big Daddy.

That's why I lean towards being in favor of his candidacy.

No one disputes that Big Daddy was very famous in the UK. But that's literally all he has going for him, and fame alone is not a HOF qualification.
