I feel like Hashimoto-era Zero-1 is probably a goldmine. Jetlag and GOTNW have gone through a fair bit or it, I'm sure.

Absolutely. There are a ton of fascinating looking Zero-1 shows. The rest of the show main evented by Hashimoto/Ogawa vs Kawada/Muto is:
Taichi Ishikari beat Shinsuke Z Yamagasa (5:53). Paul London & Michael Shane beat Naohiro Hoshikawa & Ikuto Hidaka (14:13) when London pinned Hidaka. Don Arakawa & Jun Kasai beat Yoshihito Sasaki & Vansack Acid (11:54) when Kasai pinned Sasaki. Tom Howard beat Tengu-Kaiser (10:26). NWA Intercontinental Tag Champs Steve Corino & CW Anderson beat Kohei Sato & Hirotaka Yokoi (15:23) when Corino pinned Yokoi. Kazuhiko Ogasawara beat King Adamo (4:44). Satoshi Kojima & Kendo KaShin beat Tatsuhito Takaiwa & Wataru Sakata (14:21) when Kojima pinned Sakata. Shinjiro Ohtani & Masato Tanaka beat Yoshiaki Fujiwara & Alexander Otsuka (15:230 when Ohtani forced Otsuka to submit. Matt Ghaffari won a "battle royal" (8:58) to become the first NWA Super Heavyweight Champ. Also in the match were: Arashi, King Dabada, & The Predator.
There are 4 matches I'm interested in checking out on this show in addition to a very satisfying main event. I have all of Zero-1 shows from 2002 I just haven't gone through it all yet.

I had no recollection of Ohtani and Fujiwara matching up. That's sort of a low-key dream match I never really thought about. Especially beefed up grumpy Ohtani.

Shit, the teammates too! I'll probably watch the rest of the card today. Zero-1 was just loaded with people I really like from this time period: Hashimoto, Tanaka, Ohtani, Takaiwa, Dick Togo, Ikuto Hidaka, Fujiwara, Corino. People like Otsuka, Murakami, Samoa Joe, Low Ki would come in. There's also a bunch of people I have literally no opinion on. I really need to try and grab all this shit one day.
I'd welcome Zero-1 recommendations.

Watching some super random stuff tonight has led me to: Shinya Hashimoto & Naoya Ogawa vs Toshiaki Kawada & Keiji Muto Zero-1 7/6/03 Kawada does the KO spot after Naoya Ogawa slaps him while lying on his back. Kawada got KO'd by a guy lying down. I feel personally trolled by that one. Really good match otherwise. Hashimoto does a great job selling the leg to the point where I'm compelled to ask if he was really hurt? It makes Kawada's end of the match leg selling look like Edge. Super invested crowd. Some hot sequences and everyone works really hard. I will say the spot where Muto puts Ogawa in the figure 4 and Kawada mounts Ogawa and just throws bombs at him was an amazing spot. I'm actually really surprised this hasn't been nominated. This is the lead-in to the really awesome Toshiaki Kawada vs Naoya Ogawa match from later in the year (nominated by Jetlag and loved by me & Micro). The Kawada vs Ogawa singles made Ditch's Best of 2000s project so thats how I found it. I knew of the lead in based on the video package before the match and I made a note to watch it. Thanks for reminding me and also for pimping it. Sounds great. If I didnt know you, I would want to KO you for that Kawada/Edge swipe. Them's fighting words in my book. Edge sucks so bad. Since it was you, you popped me.

ROH tags are a bit of a blind spot for me. Is there anything better than Kobashi/Homicide vs. Joe/Ki?

The whole Steen/Generico Vs Briscoes feud was great, especially their street fight

Yeah, the whole Steen/Generico v Briscoes is great. I still love the ladder match though it is a touch excessive for some (and the post match is totally over the top bonkers).
I would also recommend the Briscoes vs Strong/Aries from Unified. That was a banger and it rarely gets talked about because the main event overshadowed everything.
I haven't watched this era in quite a while, but I always remember the Kings of Wrestling stuff fondly. They had some great matches in ROH.

STARDOM ran Budokan today and it was a (mostly) good show, particularly the last 5 matches which ranged from good to great.

Yeah, that was a great PPV. Two matches I'd say are completely skippable (and please skip the Rumble, it was the longest match of the night), everything is good to great. Main event delivered.

Watched Akira Hokuto vs Mayumi Ozaki from 11/13/93 last night. What a fun match. Won't nominate it just because there are so many other matches nominated from both already. Was watching the match with a native Japanese speaker which really helped as I could get translations of Hokuto berating mid-match Ozaki, telling her 'do your moves properly (i.e this doesn't hurt)' when Ozaki has her in a leg lock which pisses Oz off, and around the 10:15 mark of the video Hokuto shouts 'time to stop playing about!' and goes to work on her. It's a transition that I would have seen differently without the context of Hokuto's comments. Knowing this, it really set the table for their antics in the second half of the match. The whole thing was a great example of selling via no-selling and really added to the match. Hokuto's post-match comments were great as well. The started with 'My first impression of Ozaki was skinny, small, long face.' It makes me wonder just how much we're missing when we miss all the shit-talking. Match is here: www.dailymotion.com/video/x5dv3r3

Does anyone know if Black Terry had an inexplicable ripper in 2022? I feel like as I take stock of the year I should check on this since more often than not he did.
