I had final conflict on my ballot last year I think. I rewatched it recently and it sits somewhere between 100-130 to me.

It's certainly one of the most unique cage matches I've ever seen and it's definitely very good. Just never reached THAT level for me.

I like that two different Colon vs Ayala matches got votes. The texas death match here and I voted for their Fire match.

407-T. KENTA vs Low-Ki (ROH - 12/17/2005) Total Points: 40 High Vote (61): Kas
Love that this got some love. It is so rare that matches with this much hype live up to it. I may not have it as a top 100 match, but it lived up to the hype in a lot of ways and launched a really fun run from Kenta in ROH.
440-T. Jon Cortez vs. Steve Grey (JP - 7/27/1981) Total Points: 33 High Vote (68): Jetlag
There was a match trade thing over at PWO a while back and someone - might have even been jetlag, I don't recall - was helping me dip my toes into classical British stuff. This was one of the matches sent my way and I loved it. It helped me see the grittiness in the style and was the match that solidified Grey as my favorite in the style as well.
418-T. Shinobu Kandori vs Devil Masami (JWP - 7/14/1988) Total Points: 37 High Vote (64): Cap
I'm not particularly surprised that I am the only vote on this match, but folks should get in on this match. So fantastic. Honestly though, if you haven't seen it, give it a go.
403-T. Kevin Steen vs El Generico (Ladder Match - PWG - 10/22/2011) Total Points: 41 High Vote (60): Cactus
Between the last ballot and this one I went through the entire Nigel/Dragon rivalry (left one of their matches off that will likely be on next time). This time, I might put this rivalry on. I wont watch every match, but the high points seems reasonable. If nothing else it will be fun.
401. Buzz Sawyer vs Tommy Rich (Cage - GCW - 10/23/1983) Total Points: 42 High Vote (66): Elliott
Love the match. It isn't a criticism, but this was a last minute cut to make room for something else. I rewatched it over the weekend (I am still riding some momentum of watching great matches) and wound up happy I cut it. It's another match that would probably make my top 150 or so. Quite a few territory matches fell off this year and that is probably more about my watching patterns over the last year than actual indictments of the matches. I don't think this one gets back back on the list next year, but a couple others might.

Glad to see Kojima vs Kawada get a vote, probably the second-best All Japan match from the 00s, and just missed out on my list.

Our first error was flagged. I highlighted the match in question in blue on the list and updated its points and the high vote. You can also find it below. I am not going to move it and renumber.
413. Jushin Liger vs Naoki Sano (NJPW - 7/13/1989) Total Points: 9 High Vote (92): Kas
All other adjustments to the as a result of this error affected matches yet to be rolled out and have been fixed.
Thanks to andylfc for bringing the error to my attention.

Re: Kandori vs Masami. Another one im a little surprised I let slip through the cracks as I voted for it last year and I love both of them. Its been probably 2 years since I last watched it. Its a match I need people to explain why they vote for the 4th best Misawa vs Kobashi but not this. Its every bit as good as any 90s AJPW singles match.

I've got half a mind to compare and contrast Devil/Kandori with Hansen/Kawada and break down in detail why the latter is far superior.

I've got half a mind to compare and contrast Devil/Kandori with Hansen/Kawada and break down in detail why the latter is far superior. Do it... They are super close on my list. I have Kandori/Devil just a few spots higher, but that is probably more about me being a Kandori mark than anything else.

337-T. Stan Hansen vs Kenta Kobashi (AJPW - 9/4/1991) Total Points: 58 High Vote (43): Cap
Here we are again. Another Hansen/Kobashi match. if you think a murder lariat is a great way to end match, you should see it as a start to a match.
329-T. Shingo Takagi vs Tomohiro Ishii (NJPW - 8/8/2019) Total Points: 60 High Vote (41): Kas
Glad this got some love. Shingo had a wonderful G1. Lots of matches got attention (Mostly around Moxley, Ospreay, Okada, etc). However, this was so clearly the standout match to me.
323. Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan (WWE - 11/18/2018) Total Points: 62 High Vote (40): MakaiClub
Another one I am happy to see on the list. If this were a favorites list this would likely be on mine. I just felt like they left a little on the table and took what was going to be an all timer and sat it just a tier down for me. I can totally see this as a middle of the top 100 though.
305-T. Bryan Danielson vs. Homicide (ROH - 12/23/2006) Total Points: 67 High Vote (34): Microstatistics
Oh fuck yeah. I haven't seen this one in ages. I was there for their falls count anywhere and cage matches in the best of 5 series. They had great chemistry in the mid 2000s and that best of 5 wound up playing as long term booking to this. I need to check this one out again.
357. El Samurai vs Koji Kanemoto (NJPW - 6/5/1997) Total Points: 54 High Vote (69): bossrock
Fell off my list this year. Still a great match, totally worth a vote. No one was better in the back half of the 90s when it came to taking an ass whoopin than a motivated El Samurai. Few were better at dishin em out than Koji.
418-T. Josh Barnett vs Minoru Suzuki (GCW - 4/4/2019) Total Points: 37 High Vote (64): Mattsdmf
Another one I really like a lot. This crowd in this was face melting hot. Still, this wound up being my second favorite match of the event.
418-T. Adam Page and Kenny Omega vs The Young Bucks (AEW - 2/29/2020) Total Points: 37 High Vote (64): bossrock
This one seems divisive. In keeping up with the modern product. I mostly lean on the WhatCulture podcasts anymore and those guys drool over this match. I re-watched it for this project and it fell comfortably short for me, but I totally get how this is a lot of people's cup of tea. I still really really enjoyed it. I actually prefer the FTR v Page/Omega match, which gets very little buzz, but I will write about that when organizing this rollout is done.
379-T. Kiyoshi Tamura vs Vader (UWFi - 6/10/1994) Total Points: 47 High Vote (54): Elliott
Another one that would make a favorites list for me, as would at least two of the Takada/Vader matches. Vader was a blast in UWFi, but his limitations grappling either shine through just a little too much for me or they have to work around them to the point where it keeps the matches just short of my top 100. This would easily make my top 200. Despite the love the Takada matches get, this on par as Vader's best UWFi match (and is pretty easily Vader's best individual performance to me) because Tamura hides his weaknesses better in this little sprint

Hansen-Kobashi '91 might have the greatest start to a match ever.
